Help your students get a head start!
When you require your students to write a research paper or complete a research project, call a librarian to schedule a class session on research skills.
Resources
Many students are not aware of the resources available for specific disciplines. A typical class instruction session (in the library or in your classroom) will highlight online indexes for finding the best articles, specialized reference tools, the web, and the Stout Library Catalog, as well as review basic principles of search strategy. Hands-on work with electronic resources is included, but any session will be specifically tailored to your needs.
